The Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) and the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), in co-operation with the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (ALEAR), solicit proposals for the Local Organising Committee and for the Congress Venue for the Third World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists, tentatively to be held between March and June, 2006.

Proposals are solicited from universities, research organisations, or groups of organisations, that can assume all of the administrative, organisational and financial responsibilities listed in the “Guidelines for Applications” available here: The Guidelines contain also detailed instructions on how to apply.

Expressions of interest and proposals should be sent by e-mail to the Chairman of the Selection Committee at the address and in accordance with the deadlines indicated below. Any material that cannot be sent electronically should reach the Chairman of the Selection Committee by mail or fax in accordance with the deadlines indicated below.
